Today marks the 11th anniversary of the saddest day the USA has ever witnessed. My heart, thoughts, and true emotion, will forever go out to those who lost so much on this day. A few years back, I got the chance to witness, for myself, the impact those planes had on all of our lives by visiting "Ground Zero". My heart was as empty as the spot I was seeing with my own two eyes, and still is to this day. While walking away from the site, i spotted this lonely flag in an alley way. It gave me hope, yet filled my eyes with tears of pain and hurt, and confusion. We will always remember where we were on this day. What we were doing this day, and the day itself. Again, my heart goes out to all of those who loved and lost on this sad day in our history. No matter what you believe happened that day, always remember... there were lives lost too soon!  Gone but never forgotten!  May all of you forever  rest in peace.

I could feel the emotion flooding from your words. I echo this statement 'No matter what you believe happened that day, always remember... there were lives lost too soon!'
